larken turns 1

My baby girl turned 1 on the 9th. We celebrated that morning with family and friends and spent the rest of the day at the lake. She is so full of light and sweetness; beautiful inside and out. I'm not sure how many times a day I tell her, 'you're a mess.' :) Larken is a wild little thing, with a mischievous side, but also a gentleness. She is always on the go and getting into something. She massively loves her brother. Whatever he is doing she wants to do. If he's laughing, she's laughing. If he's crying, she's crying. Some of her favorite things: being outside, climbing, food!, baths in the sink, wagon rides, piper dog. I'm so, so happy I get to be her mama.
